Roman Large Limestone Bread Stamp
Late Roman/Byzantine, c. 5th - 7th Century AD. Fantastic and very large limestone bread stamp, the base is incised with a large anchor and four Greek letters around. The stamp is roughly oval in shape with a narrow handle at center. Intact, with deep-cut details and light earthen deposits.
