He grew up in the vibrant city of Buenos Aires, born in 1906 to French parents who emigrated to Argentina. Influenced by his father’s profession as a gem dealer, Fred eventually moved back to France to study jewelry himself. His first shop opened in Paris in 1936, and he quickly made a name for himself with his eye catching designs. Fred of Paris continues to be a leader in the jewelry business, releasing pieces inspired by life, light, movement and energy.
