Musha
Musha Zatoichi Style Shirasaya // Burgundy
Product Description
From the Musha Collection comes this intricately hand forged Zatoichi Style Shirasaya which is a minimalist’s dream. The full tang 1045 high carbon steel blade makes this a resilient katana that is razor sharp right out of the box and ready to cut.
Traditionally, a Shirasaya was used to store the Samurai's blade when not in use. It has a clean wood handle, no wraps, no accessories, and a simple matching wood saya.
This katana features a unique integrated Bo-Hi on the handle. Bo-Hi, commonly known as blood grooves, reduces the weight of the katana. This lets the user wield the the katana smoothly, reducing stress on the hands, in addition to aiding advanced cutting techniques that require the katana to change direction rapidly.
All Musha swords can be fully disassembled and reassembled. You are free to add any style Tsuba, Fuchi, or Kashira to make the tsuba you want and make your katana truly unique.
